Classic, comforting, and full of homestyle flavor, Kentucky Homestead Chicken & Rice Soup combines long grain rice with carrots, onion, bell pepper, spinach, scallion, peppercorns, allspice, thyme, bay leaf, and savory for a bowl that tastes like it has been simmering all afternoon. A splash of fresh lemon at the end brightens the broth and brings all of the flavors together. 

Add cooked chicken and celery or fennel for an easy, satisfying meal, or stir in cream for a richer variation. It serves about 8 and is ready in roughly 40 minutes, making it a great choice for cozy weeknights or feeding the family.

Soup Mix Ingredients:
Rice, Carrot, Onion, Bell Pepper, Spinach, Scallion, Black, Green & White Peppercorns, Allspice, Thyme, Bay Leaf & Savory. 

You’ll Add:

• 8 cups chicken broth
• 2 cups cooked chicken breast
• 2 to 3 stalks celery or 1 bulb fennel
• 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• Optional cream for a richer version

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery if they meet the following requirements:

Products must be unused, clean condition, and in original packaging. 

We do not accept returns of consumable items such as food, tea, coffee, and spices. 

Sale items are final sale, and not eligible for returns or exchanges. 

Gift cards cannot be refunded.

Shipping charges are not eligible for refunds.

You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Refunds are not offered for cooking classes.

Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class will receive store credit. No exceptions will be made due to planning requirements and supply expenses. Class reservations are transferable and may be gifted to another individual.

The right to cancel a class due to severe weather or insufficient enrollment is reserved. Should a class be canceled, a complete refund will be provided.
