Dakota Style Beer Can Chicken
Here's another great idea to show that you're master of the backyard grill - it's fun, easy and delicious!
Ingredients
- Grab a can of your favorite beer and drink about 1/3 of it.
- While you're enjoying the cool one, rub the bird down with some butter and a few spices (get creative!).
- Set the 2/3 full can of beer on the cooker.
- Place the whole chicken vertically on the beer can.
- Place the cooker on the grill, over low heat, for 2 about hours.
(The chicken cooker can be purchased at Someone's In The Kitchen and will handle 2 chickens at a time plus your vegetables!)
This recipe will result in the most succulent, mouthwatering chicken you have ever tasted!
Variations: Any one of the following can be added to the beer to add a little spice.
- 2-3 T. Tabasco sauce,
- ½ c. Italian dressing,
- ½ T. crushed garlic,
- 3 T. honey and 3T BBQ sauce.
(Grillmaster - Use your imagination!)
*For chicken on the wagon, just substitute tomato juice or nonalcoholic beer.
