Plum Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
  • 1 can plums, with syrup and without seeds
  • 2-4 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped
Directions
  1. Puree plums with syrup in food processor.
  2. In saucepan combine plum puree, vinegar, sugar and hot sauce.
  3. On medium high heat reduce mixture to a sauce consistency, whisking frequently.
  4. Add fresh basil and serve hot or chill and serve cold.
