Gorgonzola Artichoke Dip

Ingredients
  • 1 jar marinated artichokes, diced
  • 2 ounces shallots, minced
  • 2 ounces butter
  • 4 ounces white wine
  • 6 ounces heavy cream
  • 3 ounces gorgonzola cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Sauté artichokes and shallots in butter.
  2. Deglaze pan with wine and add sour cream.
  3. Allow to reduce for 5 minutes over medium heat.
  4. Add gorgonzola cheese stirring until melted.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and simmer sauce until thickened.
  6. Serve with warm toast points.
